Volleyball Recap: Mission San Jose Finds Playoff Glory Versus Pinole Valley

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mission San Jose walked away with it. They came out on top against the Pinole Valley Spartans by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 15-25, 26-24.

Mission San Jose's win bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Pinole Valley, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 23-4.

Looking ahead, Mission San Jose will challenge International at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. Pinole Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
