Football Recap: Dewey Takes a Loss

Dewey fell victim to Metro Christian and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Patriots and fell 42-0. While losing is never fun, the Bulldoggers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while the Patriots are ranked 26th).

Dewey dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Metro Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dewey will challenge rival Sequoyah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Metro Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Chandler at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
