While Izard County's win against Marshall wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Bobcats on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Izard County's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Marshall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Izard County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marshall, they will head out on the road to square off against Rose Bud at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
