Basketball Game Preview: Groveton Indians vs. Zavalla Eagles

The Groveton Indians are taking a road trip to square off against the Zavalla Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Groveton is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Groveton saw some tournament action on Saturday. They were outmatched by Hardin and fell 66-34.

Meanwhile, Zavalla lost to Good Samaritan HomeSchool on the road by a 54-38 margin on Saturday.

Groveton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Zavalla, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Groveton didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Zavalla in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 37-33 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
