Volleyball Game Preview: Ballard Bombers vs. North Polk Comets

Ballard is 1-7 against North Polk since August of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:15 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Tuesday, Ballard got the win against Carroll by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Bombers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, North Polk made easy work of Carroll last Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Ballard's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for North Polk, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

Ballard skirted past North Polk 3-2 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Bombers repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
