Southern Choctaw won against Millry last Monday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Southern Choctaw Indians blew past the Leroy Bears 62-39. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 23 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Lamarrance Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards. Tristan Hill was another key player, putting up 14 points along with six assists and four steals.

When it comes to explaining why Leroy lost, don't look at Ja'Kavien Collins. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 10 on his way to 10 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Collins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Tolbert, who posted eight points.

The victory made it two in a row for Southern Choctaw and bumps their season record up to 7-1. As for Leroy, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Southern Choctaw wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-35 win against McIntosh on the 9th. As for Leroy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-36 victory against Fruitdale on the 10th.
