Basketball Game Preview: South Summit Wildcats vs. Ogden Tigers

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the South Summit Wildcats face off against the Ogden Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday... South Summit will be strutting in after a victory while Ogden will be coming in after a defeat.

South Summit is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Ben Lomond: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that South Summit blew Ben Lomond out of the water with a 59-15 final score. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ogden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Morgan, falling 61-38.

The win made it two in a row for South Summit and bumps their season record up to 13-6. As for Ogden, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

South Summit was able to grind out a solid victory over Ogden when the teams last played on January 9th, winning 64-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Summit since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
