Football Game Preview: McCool Junction Mustangs vs. Arcadia/Loup City Rebels

The McCool Junction Mustangs will take on the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. McCool Junction has given up an average of 30 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

McCool Junction's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Shelby-Rising City on Friday. They were beaten by the Huskies 36-0. It was the first time this season that the Mustangs let down their fans at home.

Meanwhile, Arcadia/Loup City didn't have too much trouble with South Loup on Thursday as they won 32-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rebels.

Arcadia/Loup City's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for McCool Junction, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.
