Volleyball Recap: Glastonbury Falls Short Against Ranked Cheshire

Glastonbury faced Cheshire in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Guardians fell 3-1 to the Rams. The Guardians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 26-28, 25-15.

Glastonbury's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Cheshire, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glastonbury will welcome Wethersfield at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Cheshire and Xavier will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
