Preview: Lima Senior Spartans vs. Scott Bulldogs
Lima Senior is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Scott is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Lima Senior Spartans will take on the Scott Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Lima Senior didn't have too much trouble with Southview at home as they won 47-32.
Lima Senior's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maisie Strawser, who scored 16 points along with five steals. Strawser continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Angie Kohlhofer, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Even though Scott has not done well against Southview recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Scott secured a 35-31 W over Southview.
Lima Senior is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Scott, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
