Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lansing's offense. They fell just short of the Leavenworth PIONEERS by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lansing's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Leavenworth, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2-1.

While Lansing had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Thursday.
