Basketball Recap: Columbus Has No Trouble Against Benson

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westview, Columbus was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the Benson Bunnies 48-32. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-45 back in December of 2024.

Columbus' win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Benson, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbus will face off against Burke at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus is facing Burke at the right time seeing as Burke is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Benson, they will take on Papillion-LaVista at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Papillion-LaVista's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
