Faith Baptist will head out on the road to square off against Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Baptist stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They put the hurt on Bethany Christian with a sharp 51-28 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Faith Baptist has posted against Bethany Christian since January 24, 2020.
Faith Baptist relied on the efforts of Bailey Burton, who scored 15 points along with two steals, and Amy Ahrens, who almost dropped a triple-double on 13 points, ten rebounds, and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Burton has scored all season. Olivia Adams was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian came up short against Bethany Christian on Tuesday and fell 46-39.
Faith Baptist's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Faith Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Faith Baptist took their victory against Faith Christian in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 48-25. Will Faith Baptist repeat their success, or does Faith Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
