Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Hill Takes a Loss

Pleasant Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Newport Cubs.

Pleasant Hill now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Newport, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Pleasant Hill will be playing at home against Elmira at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newport, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Taft on the 4th.
