Joyce Valiente Game Report: @ Sierra

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Joyce Valiente: she recorded her first sack on Tuesday and we're guessing she's looking for more. She also made five total tackles (1.0 for loss), but sadly Manteca still had to take a 13-6 loss at the hands of Sierra. We hope Valiente's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Even though Valiente couldn't lead Manteca over Sierra, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Valiente's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Buffaloes' five-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Valiente and the Buffaloes surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
