Basketball Recap: Carroll County Comes Up Short

Carroll County lost against Owen County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Carroll County Panthers took a blow against the Owen County Rebels, falling 57-28. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Carroll County's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Owen County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Carroll County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Trinity at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Carroll County likes a good challenge. As for Owen County, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Williamstown at 8:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
