Soccer Recap: Syracuse's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Syracuse walked away with it. They never let the Mountain Ridge Sentinels get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for Syracuse as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Tate Jacobs, who's now up to five this season.

Syracuse's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Mountain Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Looking ahead, Syracuse will face off against Skyridge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
