Basketball Game Preview: Brookeland Wildcats vs. Commerce Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Brookeland Wildcats face off against the Commerce Tigers at 3:35 p.m. on Thursday... Brookeland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68.4 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Brookeland came up short against Onalaska and fell 90-82.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Cade Morgan, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Braden Mccugh was another key player, putting up nine points along with six assists and five boards.

Meanwhile, Commerce played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Martins Mill and fell 72-37. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Commerce and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Brookeland, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
