Robert Bailey put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2024 on Friday. He rushed for 307 yards and three scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he posted at least 128 rushing yards in the seventh games prior.

Bailey and Shelbyville Central will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clarksville at 7:00 p.m. on October 9. Bailey will face off against Ahvare Galbreath, the Wildcats' star running back. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
