Football Recap: Hoover's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

With a playoff win on the line, Hoover rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 35-12 margin over the Princeton Tigers. Considering the Huskies have won 11 contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Although Princeton took the loss, they still got scores from Brad Mossor and Daniel Jennings.

The victory (which was Hoover's fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.8 points per game. As for Princeton, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-1.

Hoover wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 49-7 defeat against Bridgeport on the 14th. Princeton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
