Massena takes loss despite strong efforts from Taylor Mitchell and Colin Patterson

The Massena Raiders lost against the Canton Golden Bears back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Massena suffered a rough 61-36 loss at the hands of Canton. Massena has struggled against Canton recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Massena's loss came despite strong showings from Colin Patterson and Taylor Mitchell. Patterson almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds, while Mitchell scored 11 points.

Massena's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Canton, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Massena will head out on the road to take on Gouverneur at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Massena focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday. Canton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
