Sequoia Charter put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the Canyon State Academy Rams to the tune of 56-19. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Sequoia Charter's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Canyon State Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Sequoia Charter won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against El Dorado at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. El Dorado knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Sequoia Charter likes a good challenge. As for Canyon State Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
