Basketball Recap: Kingsley Takes a Loss

Kingsley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 78-36 loss at the hands of the Harbor Springs Rams. While losing is never fun, the Stags can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 623rd, while the Rams are ranked 34th).

Kingsley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Harbor Springs, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Kingsley will head out on the road to challenge Grayling at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grayling has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Harbor Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kalkaska at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harbor Springs has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 211 points over their last three games.
