Softball Recap: Westminster Wildcats vs. Hebron Christian Lions
After flying high against Norcross last Monday, Westminster came back down to earth. The Westminster Wildcats lost 14-3 to the Hebron Christian Lions on Wednesday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.
Westminster's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Hebron Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-5.
Westminster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hebron Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hebron Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
