Volleyball Recap: Orange Lutheran Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Orange Lutheran and West Ranch squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Orange Lutheran had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2.

The 3-2 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-22, 26-28, 26-24, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Orange Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Kenzie Houston, who had 16 digs and two aces.

Alexandra Seres had an outrageously good game for West Ranch as she had 20 digs. That's the most digs Seres has posted over her last six matches.

Orange Lutheran has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 26-11 record this season. As for West Ranch, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-5.

Orange Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Ranch, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against JSerra Catholic on the 1st.
