Marinette hadn't done well against Southern Door recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Marines took down the Eagles 27-8. This was payback for the Marines, who suffered a 19-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Marinette and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.5 points over those games. As for Southern Door, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3.
