Basketball Recap: Dudley Comes Up Short

Dudley suffered their biggest loss since January 3rd on Friday. They were outmatched by the Willow Spring Storm and fell 60-23.

Despite the loss, Dudley still got an impressive performance from Sasha Brower, who posted six points in addition to 12 boards and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Jalyn Taylor, who earned four points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Willow Spring found their leader in freshman Ahnala Temple, who scored 12 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. Temple is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least seven every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Temple, who had 14 points.

Dudley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Willow Spring, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Dudley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-35 loss against South Garner on the 29th. As for Willow Spring, they have also already played their next matchup, a 70-38 win against Broughton on the 2nd.
