It's playoff time, and Victory Rock Prep had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Balboa Roughriders by a score of 110-97 on Monday. Victory Rock Prep's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Balboa lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Promise Otunu, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Apolo Caetano, who put up 18 points and five boards.

Victory Rock Prep's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Balboa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-25 record this season.

Victory Rock Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 89-76 loss against West Oaks Academy on the 18th. Balboa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
