Recap: Hardee Wildcats vs. North Port Bobcats
The Hardee Wildcats had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 20-7 victory over North Port. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hardee also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2014.
Kellon Lindsey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 226 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Hardee is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for North Port, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hardee will challenge Lake Placid at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Port, they will head out on the road to face off against Tarpon Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Tarpon Springs' favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three matches.
