Basketball Game Preview: Pahokee Blue Devils vs. Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars

Having just played yesterday, the Pahokee Blue Devils will get right back to it and host the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Pahokee lost to Atlantic Christian on the road by a 58-41 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Sharks: they've now lost eight in a row.

Pahokee's defeat came about despite a quality game from Sa?Nya Flowers, who posted 21 points. That was a full 51.2% of Pahokee's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Karlissa Young, who had eight points.

Meanwhile, Dreyfoos School of the Arts had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 39-32 victory over Boca Raton Christian on Thursday.

Pahokee's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
