Golden West barely beat Tehachapi the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trailblazers claimed a resounding 39-3 win over the Warriors. Given the Trailblazers' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Warriors are ranked 464th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Jayden Najera, who threw for 417 yards and four TDs. Those 417 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bre Marroquin, who rushed for 71 yards and a pair of scores.

Golden West's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.7 points over those games. As for Tehachapi, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Golden West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 52-8 victory against Mt. Whitney on the 3rd. As for Tehachapi, they have also already played their next matchup, a 41-7 win against East Bakersfield on the 3rd.
