Baseball Game Preview: Larkin Royals vs. West Aurora Blackhawks

For the second straight game, Larkin will face off against West Aurora. The Royals are taking a road trip to square off against the Blackhawks at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Larkin came up short against West Aurora and fell 6-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Royals in their meetings with the Blackhawks: they've now lost seven in a row.

For West Aurora's part, the team relied heavily on Eliseo Liscano, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most hits Liscano has posted since back in April. Mason Atkins was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

The victory was the seventh in a row for West Aurora, bringing their record up to 25-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Larkin, their loss dropped their record down to 4-25.
