Notre Dame Prep had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Arizona College Prep Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in September.
 Notre Dame Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-18,  27-25.
Notre Dame Prep found their leader in sophomore  Alex Heritage, who  had 14  digs and ten  assists. Those 14  digs set a new season-high mark for  Heritage.
 Notre Dame Prep  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with ten  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in seven consecutive  matches.
 When it comes to explaining why Arizona College Prep lost, don't look at  ARIN CHAVEZ. Despite the final result, she  had 13  digs and three  aces.
Notre Dame Prep's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Arizona College Prep,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 11-17-2.
