Booker T. Washington is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since October 18, 2024 on Friday. They lost 32-9 to Pine Forest. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Tate entered their contest against Pace on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Aggies came up short against the Patriots, falling 30-8. While losing is never fun, the Aggies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Patriots are ranked 30th).
