Northside Christian is a perfect 9-0 against Admiral Farragut since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Mustangs will challenge the BlueJackets at 6:00 p.m. Northside Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
Northside Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Lexington Christian 19-4 on Wednesday.
Austin Anderson looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

On the hitting side, Northside Christian got a massive performance out of Luke Anderson, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Anderson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ashton Cox, who scored four runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
Northside Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .586. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in five consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Admiral Farragut posted their closest win since March 4, 2024 on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy 6-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the BlueJackets.
Admiral Farragut saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Anderson, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Anderson is becoming a predictor of the BlueJackets' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-10 when he doesn't).
Admiral Farragut's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Northside Christian, their win bumped their record up to 17-8.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Northside Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Admiral Farragut struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
