Baseball Recap: Como Park Falls to Robbinsdale Cooper in First Game of Season

Como Park kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks, falling 10-1. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Como Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mitchell Pelzer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Como Park will take on Camden at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Richfield at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give the Hawks their first taste of in-conference action this season.
