Recap: Lamar Silver Foxes vs. Latta Vikings
The Lamar Silver Foxes lost against the Latta Vikings back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Lamar fell to Latta 51-45.
Despite the loss, Lamar still got an impressive performance from NyShaun "Shaun" Quillen, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Quillen hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier "Zoom" Jackson, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Lamar bumped their record down to 3-12 with that defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Latta, their victory bumped their record up to 2-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamar will take on Lake View at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Latta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Green Sea Floyds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
