Hamilton strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Butte Central Catholic Maroons get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Broncs have won five matchups by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Tayleigh Bakken and Mariah Johnson were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Bakken pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Johnson pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. At the plate, Bakken went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, while Johnson got on base in two of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dawsyn Ekin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Hadley Lockhart, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Hamilton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Butte Central Catholic only posted an OBP of .100.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Butte Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Hamilton will host Corvallis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Butte Central Catholic, they will challenge Beaverhead County at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Maroons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Beavers have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
