Basketball Recap: Laurens Academy's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Our Lady of the Rosary last Wednesday, Laurens Academy came back down to earth. The Laurens Academy Crusaders took a 31-13 bruising from the First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders on Thursday. The match marked Laurens Academy's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Laurens Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6. As for First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Laurens Academy will take on Greenville Tech Charter at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Spartanburg Day at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
