Soccer Game Preview: Johnson vs. LEE

The Johnson Jaguars will venture away from home to challenge the LEE Volunteers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Johnson will be strutting in after a win while LEE will be coming in after a loss.

Johnson is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past SA Roosevelt 7-0 last Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Jaguars considering their one-goal performance the game before.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, LEE was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell just short of Reagan by a score of 1-0.

LEE's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 1-1-2 and their overall record down to 4-2-3. As for Johnson, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-3.

Johnson took their win against LEE in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Johnson since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
