Chris Salisbury and Sam Harlib provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Rock Academy. The longest such play in Pacific this season, the connection resulted in 93 yards.
Army-Navy extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Warrior, 63-7. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Army-Navy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Salisbury threw for 249 and four touchdowns and Harlib had 134 yards receiving. On the ground Mike Luque chipped in 153 yards. Kava Aviu helped Army-Navy's passing attack out by catching three balls for 115 yards.
Jeremy Tejada made the biggest impact on defense this week as Maranatha Christian lost to Tri-City Christian. The 6-foot-0 senior grabbed one sack.
Micah Weinstein provided a threat through the air and on the ground as San Diego Jewish Academy fell to Calvin Christian. He completed 20 passes for 303 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 64 yards. Weinstein's favorite target this week was Adam Sharf, who caught six passes for 91 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Weinstein of the Lions is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1110. He has also thrown three touchdowns. On the ground, Rock Academy's Cameron Ambrose has rushed for 757 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Harlib. The Army-Navy star has 17 catches for 641 yards.
A big matchup in Pacific this week will be when San Diego Jewish Academy takes on Frank Henry's team. Joseph Gurfinkiel's team is in sixth place, while the Warriors are in first place.
