Football Recap: Dumont Wins Going Away Against Paramus

Dumont won the last time they faced Paramus and things went their way on Friday too. The Huskies strolled past the Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 28-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

When it comes to explaining why Paramus lost, don't look at Jakob Hosie. Despite the final result, he threw for 248 yards and one TD while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 36 yards. A healthy portion of Hosie's aerial production (102 yards to be exact) went to Theo Perides.

Dumont's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Paramus, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Dumont will take on Pascack Hills on Friday. As for Paramus, they will square off against Teaneck at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will be up against the Highwaymen's rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
