Recap: Franklin Christian Academy Falcons vs. Franklin Road Christian Minutemen
The Franklin Christian Academy Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Franklin Road Christian and snuck past 87-84. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Minutemen players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Pence, who scored 29 points along with two blocks. Pence is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Ben Walker was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds.
Franklin Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Franklin Road Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-10.
Franklin Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin Road Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Pleasant View Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Franklin Road Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 matches.
