Basketball Recap: Bradford Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Bradford Christian lost to Prue back in November of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Bradford Christian Lions rang in the new year with a 46-35 win over the Prue Rockets. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Rockets are ranked 469th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bradford Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Prue, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradford Christian will welcome Cookson Hills Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prue, they will take on Shidler at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Prue is facing Shidler at the right time seeing as Shidler is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
