Cardinal Stritch had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Vanlue Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cardinal Stritch was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-8.

Olivia Ford paced Cardinal Stritch's offense, picking up 18 kills. Ford got some help from Hayden Mathena and her 25 assists. Gabby Cathers controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Cardinal Stritch's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Vanlue, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coming up, Cardinal Stritch will head out on the road to challenge Ottawa Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vanlue, they will challenge Crestline at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
