Baseball Recap: NCSSM: Durham Takes a Loss

NCSSM: Durham's last matchup with Wake Prep Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Unicorns lost 16-3 to the Guardians. The Unicorns' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Caden Bringewatt was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Griffin Lamphier (Capt) was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

NCSSM: Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Wake Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, NCSSM: Durham will look to defend their home field on Friday against Franklin Academy at 6:00 p.m. As for Wake Prep Academy, they will head out to challenge Roxboro Community at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
