Baseball Recap: Malden Comes Up Short

Malden lost against Medford back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Golden Tornados fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 4-3. The Golden Tornados have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Malden's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Medford, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season.

Malden will be taking part in a tournament against Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Medford, they are taking a road trip to face off against Woburn Memorial at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
