Soccer Recap: Minnetonka Starts Season with Win Against Lakeville North

Minnetonka gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lakeville North Panthers a 5-0 shutout.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minnetonka will challenge Academy of Holy Angels at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lakeville North, they will take on Owatonna at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will give Lakeville North their first taste of in-conference action this season.
