Hanahan won against Orangeburg-Wilkinson last Friday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Hanahan's pitchers stepped up to hand Orangeburg-Wilkinson a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won four contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Hanahan is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. Orangeburg-Wilkinson's loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Hanahan will host Dobyns-Bennett at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Orangeburg-Wilkinson, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Charleston at 6:00 p.m. on April 8.
