Football Recap: Omaha North Vikings vs. Buena Vista Bison
Omaha North won the last time they faced Buena Vista and Tyler Curtis did his part to make sure it happened again. The Vikings simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Bison 60-0 with plenty of help from Curtis, who rushed for 104 yards and one score. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.
Omaha North didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Darion Jones and Colin Kinman. Jones got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Omaha North, racking up 24 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Kordai Richard, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
